The Clifden Chamber of Commerce was established in 1991 and since then it has played a distinguished and important role in the history of the town and in the development of the business and commercial life of Clifden.
Our Mission
Clifden Chamber of Commerce provides business development through furthering the interests of its members by influencing all the appropriate public and private bodies or agencies, to promote the long term economic development of the town and to create, maintain and develop an environment and infrastructure in Clifden which is conducive to the development of local business, industry, tourism and commerce.
Through our members we keep abreast of the issues facing businesses at ground level. We then represent and lobby on their behalf at local level and also on a national level.
We aim to achieve our mission through efforts of our staff, our council and our comprehensive committee structures as well as with the help of our valued members. Clifden Chamber welcomes new members. We also encourage our membership to take an active role by joining our committees and council.
